Dear parents and carers,

 

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister yesterday, we write to advise you that there is no change to the guidance for those who are eligible for a school place at this time.  We will continue to provide care for our vulnerable children and for children of key workers only. The message is still that it is safer to stay at home.

 

We expect to receive further information from the DfE on how we should open our school to more pupils when it is safe to do so and when the time is right.  We will need clear guidance so that we can keep our pupils, staff and families safe by adopting a sensible, well planned approach which considers all safety measures. 

 

Please be advised that all schools have received the information at the same time as the nation. 

 

As always, we will keep you informed but for now, please try not to worry. We will continue to provide activities for learning at home, will keep in contact and will continue to support our school community in these very difficult and uncertain times.
